Experience required:
Seven years experience of research in Entomology acquired after M.Sc Agriculture / M.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture depending upon the field to which the recruitment is to be made.

DUTIES OF THE POST OF ENTOMOLOGIST
1. To develop control measures on different crops pests.
2. To multiplicate and mass release of natural enemies of different crops pests.
3. Biological testing of the Product offered by the Exporters manufactures and formulator of pesticides.
4. Determination of effective disease tolerance and remedies of pesticides.
5. Integrated cultural and other method of pest control.
6. Survey identification and collection of sugarcane and maize pests.
7. Supervision of research work on Beekeeping and Hill Fruits pests.
